Super 8 is a vintage video format, shot on 8mm film – think nostalgic, dreamy video reminiscent of your parent’s wedding. It is an incredibly unique and special way to capture your wedding day, engagement announcement, or any other life event.

More About Super 8…
Super 8 is a little different than the typical digital wedding film – each canister of film is only 3 1/2 minutes of footage, and there is no sound. My cameras are from the 1970s and I intentionally capture clips throughout your wedding, resulting in a short but sweet video edit that perfectly encapsulates your day!
This medium is perfect for couples who really want to capture the feeling of their day. It really evokes such a wonderful feeling of nostalgia. I’m absolutely obsessed with the results, and my clients are too!
Although Super 8 is available as a stand-alone service, my most popular packages include photography and Super 8. In these cases, I always have a trusty second shooter to ensure we can capture all of the important moments on both photo and video.

To find the perfect song for your video, I scour royalty-free databases for music that fits your wedding and the pace of your video. If clients are interested in licensing a popular song for their wedding video, I am happy to look into the associated costs.

Yes! I allow one round of edits (within reason). I want you to love your video.

Nope! It is silent video.

I focus on analogue formats, and I do not offer digital wedding videos. If you are looking for coverage that includes audio of vows, toasts, etc, I may not be the right fit for you.
In the near future, my goal is to expand into 16mm films! Stay tuned for this addition – hopefully in 2026!
