Hi, I’m Simone! I'm a Southern California wedding photographer and Super 8 videographer creating memories on film. I fell in love with shooting on film over 15 years ago, and I haven’t put down the camera since.
Based in Los Angeles, but also available in every corner of the world for destination weddings. I love to travel!
My Photography Process
Film photography creates an analogue dream world – one that is full of color, nostalgia, and photos that feel lived in. I incorporate film heavily into every wedding. It’s truly a dream come true that I am able to use this medium in my career to create meaningful art for my clients!
On wedding days, I always carry multiple film cameras on me – a mix of 35mm and medium format – and use them during every part of the day. I capture every scenario on film, whether it’s a romantic candlelit dinner shot or a punchy flash cake photo. For weddings, I also capture some photos digitally, especially in particularly low-light situations. My engagement and portrait sessions are shot entirely on film.
I want to capture your day exactly as it happens, so my photography leans mostly candid or documentary style. When it feels right for the couple, I love to throw in some editorial posing. I studied costume design in college and spent hours at the library scouring vintage Vogue archives, so that comes out in my work sometimes! My galleries are artful, colorful, and often filled with movement and laughter.
Super 8 Videography
Super 8 is a vintage video format, shot on 8mm film – think nostalgic, dreamy video reminiscent of your parent’s wedding. It is an incredibly unique and special way to capture your wedding day, engagement announcement, or any other life event.
Available as a stand-alone service or an add-on to photography.
